Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Energy Marshal to lead safety-focused electrical operations for large-scale mission critical datacenter work. You will own energy isolation, LOTO, and safety procedures, ensuring compliant energizations and coordination with commissioning teams on site.

The role requires deep MV/LV knowledge, leadership, and the ability to operate under high pressure with tight schedules, contributing to reliable, secure data center infrastructure.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 10+ years of applicable experience in mission critical facilities and electrical infrastructures.
• Deep knowledge of MV (>1000V) and LV (<1000V) power distribution sequences.
• Ability to isolate energy sources and perform absence of voltage verifications.
• NFPA 70E knowledge and certification; startups, LOTO, and voltage verifications experience.
• Leadership experience in electrical field, especially overseeing Commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Manage energy isolation program at the site for MEP energy and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Review procedures, permits, and audits to ensure safe working conditions.
• Coordinate energizations/de-energizations with energy marshals and stakeholders.
• Lead pre-energization and energization meetings for first-of-kind energization.
• Oversee compliance with the Commissioning plan and safety procedures on site.
