Job summary

MC Dean seeks an Energy Marshal to lead safety and compliance for large-scale MEP energization and commissioning activities at mission-critical datacenters. You will oversee energy isolation programs, review permits and JHA, and coordinate with construction, commissioning, and safety teams during energization events.

You will apply NFPA 70E knowledge, lead risk assessments, and ensure safe work practices in energized environments while supporting daily commissioning operations and LOTO processes.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 10+ years in mission critical facilities and electrical infrastructures.
• Strong knowledge of MV (>1000V) and LV (<1000V) power distribution SOPs.
• Ability to isolate energy sources and perform absence of voltage verifications.
• NFPA 70E knowledge and certification; LVS and startups experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical energy isolation program at site for MEP energy across assigned locations.
• Review procedures, JHA, and permits to ensure safe working conditions for energy activities.
• Coordinate energizations/de-energizations with other marshals and stakeholders.
• Lead pre-energization and energization kick-off meetings for first-of-kind energizations.
• Develop risk assessments for energized environments; participate in commissioning oversight.
