Job summary

M.C. Dean, a leader in building intelligence, seeks an Energy Marshal for mission-critical datacenter operations. You will ensure safe electrical energy isolation, lead energization activities, and enforce safety plans across large-scale MEP systems.

Role requires deep MV/LV knowledge, LOTO expertise, and proven leadership under pressure to maintain 24x7x365 operations while coordinating with Cx teams and contractors.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 10+ years of applicable experience in field engineering for mission critical facilities and electrical infrastructures.
• Deep knowledge of MV (>1000V) and LV (<1000V) power distribution SOPs.
• Ability to isolate energy sources with back feeds and perform absence of voltage verifications.
• NFPA 70E knowledge and certification.
• Hands-on startups, LOTO, and voltage verification experience.

Responsibilities

• Review procedures and audits to ensure safe working conditions for energy isolation at the site.
• Coordinate energizations/de-energizations with energy marshals and stakeholders.
• Lead pre-energization and energization kick-off meetings for FoK energizations.
• Develop risk assessments for energized environments and oversee commissioning activities.
• Coordinate access, egress, and LOTO permits with safety and contractors.
