Job summary

M.C. Dean, Building Intelligence leader, seeks an Energy Marshal to lead electrical isolation and commissioning for a large on-site MEP environment in Virginia. You will coordinate energizations, review energy procedures, and ensure NFPA 70E safety across critical facilities.

Requires 10+ years in field engineering, MV/LV knowledge, and strong leadership. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 10+ years in field engineering for mission-critical facilities.
• Deep knowledge of MV (>1000V) and LV (<1000V) power distribution SOPs.
• Ability to isolate energy sources and perform absence of voltage verifications.
• NFPA 70E knowledge and certification; strong safety leadership.
• Hands-on experience with LOTO and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead energy isolation program management on site for MEP energy.
• Review procedures, permits, and JHA; audit electrical energy program activities.
• Coordinate energizations/de-energizations with stakeholders and energy marshals.
• Lead pre-energization and energization kick-off meetings for FoK energization.
• Develop risk assessments for energized environments and review safety plans.
• Attend commissioning meetings and safety audits; manage LOTO permits.
