Job summary

1898 & Co., a Burns & McDonnell company, seeks a Digital Consulting Client Engagement Manager in Chicago, IL to drive client relationships and strategic sales for technology solutions in the electric utility sector.

You will lead cross-functional teams, develop business opportunities, and collaborate with sales and marketing to expand the firm’s footprint in digital consulting services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience (3+ years identifying and implementing solutions for broad technology systems).
• Experience engaging with external customers in a consulting capacity.
• Experience deploying/integrating operational technology platforms for utility clients.
• Strong leadership, communication, and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with clients to understand their needs, manage expectations, and facilitate communication.
• Lead client-focused strategies and action plans for consulting services and solution offerings that drive sales.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and execute strategic sales plans for new and existing services.
• Position service offerings and prepare responses to RFIs and RFPs; maintain sales funnel data and targets.
• Lead teams in technology systems integrations while partnering with sales and marketing groups.
