Job summary

1898 & Co., a Burns & McDonnell company, seeks a Digital Consulting Client Engagement Manager to partner with electric utility clients, understand their critical challenges, and deliver technology-driven solutions that improve operations and business outcomes. You will drive strategic conversations, craft winning proposals, and build lasting client relationships across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field; additional experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience, with 3+ years solving broad technology system challenges.
• Experience engaging with external customers in a consulting capacity.
• Experience deploying/integrating/adopting OT/IT platforms for utility clients.
• Strong ability to develop customer relationships and win work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage client relationships to understand needs and drive opportunities.
• Lead client-focused strategies and sales plans for consulting services and offerings.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to develop strategic sales plans and collateral.
• Lead positioning of service offerings and respond to RFIs/RFPs with data-driven insights.
• Mentor staff, share expertise, and help recruit and develop a high-performing team.
