Job summary

Base is building a next-generation power network in Texas, and this EH&S role supports field operations by conducting hazard assessments, incident investigations, and addressing safety concerns with site leaders.

You will ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements, oversee waste management, and develop practical safety solutions that protect workers, the environment, and the company’s rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with emphasis on occupational health, safety, or environmental engineering.
• 3+ years in environmental health and safety oversight.
• Knowledge of Texas Health and Safety Codes, OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH.
• Experience with emergency response and incident management involving hazardous materials.
• Strong ability to interpret federal, state, and local safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain compliance with applicable regulations in Texas.
• Collaborate with leadership to perform job hazard assessments and implement safety policies.
• Conduct industrial hygiene studies to analyze byproducts against health thresholds.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify hazards and implement guarding.
• Investigate accidents to determine root causes and preventive actions.
• Develop safety solutions within cost and schedule constraints.
• Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
