Job summary

EC Electric, Inc. seeks an Environmental Health and Safety professional to design and enforce safety, health, and environmental policies across sites. You will lead safety programs, mentor staff, and coordinate incident investigations to minimize risks and ensure regulatory adherence.

The role emphasizes hazard analysis, training, and collaboration with project teams to implement EHSPs and continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Safety Management or Industrial Hygiene from an accredited school.
• Two or more years of related safety experience and/or training.
• Completion of an accredited EHS Apprentice program.

Responsibilities

• Participates in achieving the goals of the safety organization.
• Plans, implements and coordinates safety programs and procedures.
• Keeps current with regulatory changes and implements them across sites.
• Leads risk/hazard assessments and follows up on corrective actions.
• Investigates incidents (near misses, injuries) and manages documentation.
• Communicates health and safety goals and metrics to site staff.
• Performs safety audits, weekly recaps, and maintains safety inventories.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Safety Management/Industrial Hygiene

Associate degree in Safety Management/Industrial Hygiene

OSHA 30 in construction

BCSP or IHMM certification

EHS Apprentice program
