Job summary

SI Group is seeking an EHS Engineer to develop, implement, and administer environmental, health, and safety policies for our Texas Operations. You will lead regulatory training, incident investigations, and emergency readiness while coordinating with internal teams and external agencies.

Responsibilities include field EHS execution, OSHA VPP program leadership, and maintaining training records. Strong LMS and contractor database experience, plus proficiency in MS Office, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety/environmental or engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in a chemical plant setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with LMS and contractor databases.
• Emergency Response program administration familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead, and conduct regulatory-required training for all personnel at Texas Operations.
• Lead New Employee Orientation and refresher training in safety topics.
• Represent SI Group as a CAER and LEPC representative.
• Lead the OSHA VPP Program as a STAR site and support ISO/Quality programs.
• Manage field EHS tasks including LOTO, Confined Space, and other high-risk activities.
