Job summary

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is seeking an EHR System Analyst in Central Ohio to support daily use, troubleshoot, and optimize our health record system. You will collaborate with clinicians, IT, and vendors to ensure reliable operations.

The role includes training staff, testing enhancements, and maintaining workflows. Travel within the service area is expected, with a strong emphasis on communication and patient data confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Technology, Informatics, Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience supporting an EHR system in healthcare/behavioral health.
• Experience with CareLogic or NextGen EHR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily end-user support across clinical and operational teams for the EHR.
• Triage system issues and escalate complex cases to Senior EHR System Analyst or vendor.
• Serve as the point of contact for user questions and routine technical assistance.
• Maintain EHR workflows, templates, and documentation standards as directed by leadership.
• Perform initial testing of minor changes, updates, or enhancements to the EHR system.
• Assist in documenting processes, updates, and user guides.
• Coordinate with HR and assist in delivering initial EHR training to new staff and providers.
• Provide routine refresher training and user support for existing staff.
• Create basic training and communication materials for new features or updates.
• Test new features, upgrades, and patches following established testing plans.
• Provide day-of go-live support during system updates or functionality changes.
• Distribute basic announcement documentation for EHR changes affecting users.
• Maintain clear communications with internal teams and the EHR vendor on tickets and issues.
• Work with clinical staff to understand routine system concerns and opportunities for improvements.
• Participate in training and meetings to stay current on EHR functionality.
