Sylvania is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to provide advanced on-site and remote technical support across district campuses and facilities. You will maintain computing devices, network printing environments, and door access control systems, and you will escalate complex tickets beyond Tier 1.

You will collaborate with the technology team to align IT solutions with educational goals, document processes, and mentor entry-level technicians while ensuring minimal instructional

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Certifications preferred (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Professional).
• Clear and valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Perform advanced installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of computers, Chromebooks, interactive displays, and instructional software across all district facilities.
• Serve as an escalation tier for complex tickets, resolving hardware, operating system, and software issues that exceed Tier 1 scope.
• Work collaboratively with the Executive Director, Network Administrator, and Instructional Technologists to support district-wide instructional technology initiatives.
• Assist with user account rostering, single sign-on (SSO) integration, and identity management systems (e.g., ClassLink, Ascender).
