Job summary

Academy District 20 is seeking an IT Technician to provide first-line technical support for students, staff, and parents. The role covers PC, printers, tablets, and account management, with imaging and software support across district devices.

You will work with the district IT department to follow standard IT processes, maintain inventories, and assist with procurement and preventative maintenance in a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience networking client devices over wired and wireless networks.
• Experience troubleshooting, configuring, and repairing PCs, network printers, and software.
• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred IS-related degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to students, staff, and parents.
• Manage user accounts and systems administration of printers, desktops, laptops, and tablets.
• Maintain hardware and software inventory and assist with equipment ordering.
• Imaging, installation, troubleshooting, and software support for devices.
• Prepare technical documentation and user guides; train others as required.
