Job summary

Cengage Group in the United States is seeking a high-performing Education Sales professional to drive digital and print solutions within a defined territory.

You will engage in targeted sales calls, meet annual goals, and develop strategic territory plans while building lasting relationships with educators and institutions. The role includes base compensation with incentives and a comprehensive Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree; minimum 2 years of teaching and education sales experience.
• Proven record of sales growth and goal achievement.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers and internal partners.
• Documented territory management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with business technologies and CRM systems; able to transport materials (up to 50 lbs). Preferred: sales experience with digital information delivery, education, or IT.

Responsibilities

• Engage in sales call activities to prospective customers for digital and print products.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
• Drive new business to foster growth within the territory.
• Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using CRM and data.
• Participate in network-building opportunities within territory (conferences, group presentations, industry functions).
• Other duties as needed.
