Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; minimum of 2 years teaching, and education sales preferred in publishing.
• Proven track record of sales growth and meeting/exceeding goals.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Strong ability to establish, cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and internal partners.
• Documented territory management and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with business technologies and CRM; able to transport materials to customer locations (lift 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Engage in sales call activities to prospective customers to explore and present product solutions for our digital and print products.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
• Drive new business to foster growth within the territory.
• Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using company sales tools and historical data.
• Participate in network-building opportunities within territory, including conferences, group presentations, and industry functions.
• Other duties as needed.
