Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a results-driven sales professional in the United States to expand our education products portfolio. You will engage customers through targeted calls and presentations, striving to exceed annual sales targets and to develop strategic territory plans.

Your role includes forecasting and reporting, plus networking at conferences and industry events. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with at least two years of education sales experience, preferably in publishing, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; teaching and education sales experience preferred in publishing.
Track record of consistent sales growth and goal achievement.
Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
Strong territory management and organizational skills.
Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office; able to transport materials to client sites (up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

Engage in sales call activities to present product solutions for digital and print products.
Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
Drive new business to foster growth within the territory.
Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using company tools.
Participate in networking opportunities within territory and industry events.
Other duties as needed.
