Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Education Cloud Architect to advise higher education customers on digital transformation and cloud adoption. This customer-facing role blends business acumen with deep technical expertise to develop compelling Salesforce value propositions aligned to clients’ strategies.

You will partner with account teams, deliver architecture presentations, create reference architectures, and guide opportunities through discovery, design, and implementation, with travel to client sites

Qualifications

Experience with Salesforce solutions and the Salesforce Platform.
Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or equivalent.
5+ years in enterprise software implementations or enterprise architecture.
Knowledge of cloud architecture, SaaS/PaaS and multi-tenant models.
Strong communication to engage CIO/CTO level.

Responsibilities

Partner with account executives and solution engineers to advance opportunities, travel ~25%.
Define customer-driven architectures by selecting Salesforce technologies and creating architecture diagrams.
Lead discussions on business and technical transformation using IT and architecture knowledge.
Support sales by contributing to RFPs and technical requirements.
Deliver best practices and reference architectures at events.
Stay current with product, sales, and procedural training and certifications.
Lead technical due diligence and risk management.
Meet quarterly and annual performance objectives.
