Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Account Solution Engineer for its Global Public Sector Solution Engineering team to tailor education-focused solutions and lead demonstrations that map institutional challenges to Salesforce capabilities.

You will drive technical conversations, articulate value, and collaborate with account teams, product experts, and partners to deliver AI-powered transformations for higher education institutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of combined experience with Salesforce or other CRM solutions, focused on education.
• 5+ years in solution engineering, consulting, enterprise software delivery, or customer success.
• AI/Data certifications, Salesforce-preferred, related to generative AI/LLMs.
• Strong understanding of education operations (registration, advising, financial aid, student lifecycle).

Responsibilities

• Lead the solution cycle from discovery to close with account teams, product specialists, and partners.
• Understand institutional needs and map them to Salesforce solutions for higher education.
• Position Salesforce as a strategic partner with tailored demonstrations.
• Translate education processes into technology solutions for stakeholders (technical and non-technical).
• Lead technical responses to RFPs/RFIs aligned with institutional priorities.
• Collaborate across teams—sales, professional services, and partners.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to inform recommendations.
• Achieve quarterly/annual goals in customer engagement and revenue contributions.
• Invest in training and mentorship to grow domain expertise.
