Job summary

Salesforce’s Global Public Sector Solution Engineering team is seeking an Account Solution Engineer to drive tailored AI and data-powered solutions for higher education institutions. You will lead technical discussions, translate complex education workflows into Salesforce solutions, and collaborate with sales, product, and partners to deliver transformational outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in Salesforce or CRM, 5+ years in solution engineering or consulting, AI/data certifications,

Qualifications

7+ years of combined experience working with Salesforce or other CRM solutions, with a focus on education.
5+ years of experience in solution engineering, consulting, enterprise software delivery, or customer success.
Artificial Intelligence and/or Data Certifications, Salesforce-preferred.
Deep understanding of education operations, including student lifecycle management and related areas.
Strong technical acumen with experience configuring enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead the Solution Cycle from discovery to close with account teams and partners.
Understand institutional needs and map them to Salesforce solutions for higher education.
Position Salesforce as a strategic partner with tailored demonstrations.
Translate education processes into impactful tech solutions for stakeholders.
Support RFPs and proposal processes aligning with institutional priorities.
Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment with institutional needs.
Stay ahead of industry trends in education and CRM solutions.
Achieve quarterly and annual engagement and revenue objectives (NNAOV).
Invest in professional growth through training and certifications.
Drive consumption and value realization through health checks and workshops.
Develop use cases and consumption plans for AI and data products.
