You will coordinate with content developers, psychometricians, and publishing teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in English, education, publishing, or related field.
• Five+ years in editorial, assessment, publishing, or education content environment.
• Three+ years leading editors, technicians, or cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing multiple complex deliverables with tight timelines.
• Ability to interpret style guides, client requirements, and quality standards.
• Experience with high-stakes assessment, licensure, or item banking preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with CMS or publishing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of editors including assignments, feedback, onboarding, and development.
• Oversee editorial and production workflows for exams, study guides, and item banks.
• Plan team capacity and prioritize deliverables across programs.
• Ensure work follows client requirements, style guides, accessibility, quality, and security.
• Collaborate with content developers, psychometricians, project managers, and publishing teams to resolve questions.
• Review project status, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Support quality control activities such as proofreading and metadata reviews.
• Maintain procedures, templates, and logs for consistency and efficiency.
• Analyze workflow data to suggest process improvements.
• Promote a collaborative, inclusive team culture centered on accuracy and accountability.
