• Bachelor’s degree in English, education, publishing, or related field.
• Five+ years in editorial, assessment, publishing, or related environment.
• Three+ years leading editors or cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing multiple complex deliverables with competing timelines and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of editors, including assignments and coaching.
• Oversee editorial and production workflows for exams, study guides, and item banks.
• Plan capacity and prioritize deliverables across programs.
• Ensure work follows client requirements, style guides, accessibility, quality, and security.
• Collaborate with content developers, assessment specialists, psychometricians, and project managers to resolve questions.
• Review status, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Support quality control: proofreading, copyediting, metadata review, production review.
• Maintain and improve procedures, tools, and logs.
• Analyze workflow data to recommend improvements.
