Job summary

HDR is seeking a seasoned connectivity and enterprise infrastructure leader to own service delivery for global connectivity services, including data center edge, office LAN/WAN, branch networking, wireless and cloud connectivity. You will set priorities, manage engineers, and ensure operational excellence in alignment with IT strategy.

You will oversee governance, budgeting, and vendor relationships while partnering with cybersecurity and architecture teams to drive risk management and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in network engineering, connectivity operations, or enterprise infrastructure.
• 3+ years leading technical teams, leads, or service domains.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, firewalls, wireless, WAN, and cloud connectivity.
• Experience with IT service management, governance, change control, and incident leadership.
• Ability to balance people leadership, operational management, and technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own service delivery and operational performance for enterprise connectivity services (datacenter edge, office LAN/WAN, branch networking, wireless, firewall, cloud connectivity).
• Set priorities, objectives, and expectations aligned with enterprise IT strategy.
• Directly manage connectivity engineers and leads; establish delivery accountability and growth.
• Oversee workload distribution, on-call structures, staffing, and service continuity.
• Lead performance management activities including coaching and evaluations.
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, service management, and support teams to ensure coordinated delivery and risk management.
• Govern governance for incidents, changes, problems, configuration, security controls, and documentation.
• Oversee vendor and carrier relationships, service reviews, and contract discussions.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, lifecycle planning, and cost optimization for connectivity services.
• Translate strategy into executable team plans and monitor service health and risks.
