Job summary

HDR is seeking a seasoned networking leader to own the delivery and operational performance of enterprise connectivity services across datacenter edge, office LAN/WAN, branch networking, wireless, firewall, and cloud connectivity.

You will set priorities, lead a team of connectivity engineers, manage on-call structures, and drive performance through coaching and clear accountability. This role partners with cyber, cloud and support teams to ensure reliable service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in network engineering or enterprise infrastructure.
• 3+ years of leading technical teams or service domains.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, firewalls, wireless, WAN, and cloud connectivity.
• Experience with IT service management, governance, change control, and incident leadership.
• Ability to align priorities with business users and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own service delivery and operational performance for enterprise connectivity services including datacenter edge, office LAN/WAN, and cloud connectivity.
• Establish priorities, objectives, and expectations aligned with IT strategy.
• Directly manage connectivity engineers/leads and set expectations for delivery and growth.
• Oversee workload, escalations, on-call structures, staffing, and service continuity.
• Lead performance management, coaching, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and support teams for coordinated delivery.
• Oversee vendor and carrier relationships and service performance discussions.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization for connectivity services.
• Translate strategy into executable team plans and monitor health and risks.
