Job summary

HDR seeks a senior networking leader to own service delivery and operational performance for enterprise connectivity services across datacenters, office networks, and cloud connections. You will set priorities, objectives, and governance, guiding engineers and leads to ensure reliable delivery and cost efficiency.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity, architecture, and support teams, shaping roadmaps, budgets, and risk management while ensuring strong governance and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, engineering, business, or related field.
• 10+ years in network engineering, connectivity operations, or enterprise infrastructure.
• 3+ years leading technical teams or service domains.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, firewalls, wireless, WAN, and hybrid/public cloud connectivity.
• Experience with IT service management, governance, change control, and incident leadership.
• Ability to balance people leadership, operational management, and technical decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Own service delivery and operational performance for enterprise connectivity services.
• Establish priorities, service objectives, and operational expectations aligned with IT strategy.
• Directly manage connectivity engineers and/or leads; set expectations for delivery and growth.
• Oversee workload distribution, escalation models, and on-call structures for continuity.
• Lead governance for incidents, changes, problems, configuration standards, security controls, and documentation.
• Oversee vendor and carrier relationships and service performance discussions.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, lifecycle planning, and cost optimization.
