Job summary

HDR is seeking a senior leader to own enterprise connectivity services, overseeing datacenter edge connectivity, office LAN/WAN, branch networking, wireless, and cloud connectivity.

You will establish priorities, governance, and performance metrics while guiding connectivity engineers and collaborating with cybersecurity, architecture, and service management teams. This on-site role requires 24/7 coverage and coordination across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in network engineering, connectivity operations, or enterprise infrastructure.
• 3+ years leading technical teams or service domains.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, firewalls, wireless, WAN, and cloud connectivity.
• Experience with IT service management, governance, change control, and incident leadership.
• Ability to align priorities with business users and stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Own service delivery and operational performance for enterprise connectivity services including datacenter edge connectivity, office LAN/WAN, branch networking, wireless, firewall services, and cloud connectivity.
• Establish priorities, service objectives, and operational expectations aligned with IT strategy.
• Directly manage connectivity engineers and leads; set clear expectations for delivery and growth.
• Oversee workload distribution, escalation models, on-call structures, staffing, and service continuity planning.
• Lead performance management activities including goal setting, coaching, and evaluations.
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, service management, and support teams for coordinated delivery and risk management.
• Ensure governance for incidents, changes, problems, configuration standards, security controls, and documentation.
• Oversee vendor and carrier relationships, service reviews, and performance discussions.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, lifecycle planning, and cost optimization for connectivity services.
• Translate strategy into executable team plans and monitor health, risks, and improvement progress.
