Job summary

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Experience operating a PC and using software applications.
• One year of related experience, preferably in medical/financial services.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, registers, and admits patients at bedside; verifies insurance information.
• Collects and updates data for timely billing and financial clearance.
• Obtains signatures on regulatory paperwork and validates referrals.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and uses downtime procedures in EHR.
• Responds to inquiries; supports patients, families, and care teams.
