Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an ultrasound technologist specialized in echocardiography to provide high-quality heart and great vessel imaging for adult patients in a dynamic clinical setting.

The role includes assisting with exercise and pharmacologic stress testing, maintaining accuracy in measurements, and collaborating with cardiology for interpretation and care. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association.
• Sonography or Related field education.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identify EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmia during studies.
• Use M-Mode, Doppler, and color flow to assess cardiac structures.
• Assess LV/RV systolic and diastolic function; document wall motion.
• Assist with stress echocardiography and TEE when needed.
