Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a skilled echocardiography professional to provide high-quality ultrasound imaging of the heart and great vessels for adult patients. The role includes assisting exercise and pharmacologic stress testing, data interpretation, and collaboration with cardiology.

Qualifications include ARDMS/CCI registration within 1 year and BLS within 30 days. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available for eligible candidates, with relocation consideration for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identify EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmia.
• Uses M-Mode technique to measure cardiac dimensions.
• Assess valvular function with color Doppler and Doppler techniques.
• Evaluate left and right ventricular systolic and diastolic function.
• Assist in transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).
• Communicate results to the cardiologist and document findings.
