Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a professional to provide high quality ultrasound imaging of the heart and great vessels for adults. The role includes assisting with exercise and pharmacologic stress echocardiography and supporting related duties per department needs.

Qualified candidates will have ARDMS or CCI registration, BLS, and education in sonography or a related field. Relocation/sign-on bonuses are available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• Education: Sonography or Related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identifies EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmia.
• Uses age-specific considerations in imaging and patient care.
• Demonstrates knowledge of imaging techniques (M-Mode, Doppler, color flow).
• Evaluates cardiac structure and function and documents findings.
• Assists with stress echocardiography and TEE as needed.
