Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in echocardiography to provide high quality images of the heart and great vessels for adult patients. You will perform two-dimensional studies, assist with stress testing, and support the cardiology team with accurate reporting.

The role requires ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year, BLS within 30 days, and education in sonography or related field. New grads welcome. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days.
• New grads accepted or evaluated for competency.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identify EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmia.
• Utilize Doppler and contrast techniques to answer clinical questions and optimize imaging.
• Collaborate with cardiologists to interpret findings and document results.
