Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to provide high quality ultrasound images of the heart and great vessels for adult patients. The role includes supporting exercise and pharmacologic stress testing, collaborating with cardiologists, and maintaining proficiency across four echocardiographic windows.

The candidate should have ARDMS/CCI certification within 1 year, BLS within 30 days, and education in sonography or related field.

Qualifications

• Certification in ARDMS or CCI within 1 year
• BLS within 30 days - AHA
• Education in sonography or related field

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identify EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmia.
• Assist cardiologist with TEE and stress echocardiograms.
• Maintain knowledge of current echocardiography techniques and ICAEL accreditation.
