Job summary

Gallagher's eShepherd is seeking a senior Business Development Manager to drive market growth across the United States. You will own the sales journey from first conversation to close, building relationships with ranchers, producers and partners while shaping market strategy for eShepherd's virtual fencing technology.

The role requires proven BD or key account skills within a solution-selling framework, with experience in agriculture and AgTech.

Qualifications

• Proven business development or key account experience in solution-selling environments.
• Ability to identify prospects and convert opportunities into sales.
• Experience working with ranchers or in agriculture.
• Knowledge of AgTech solutions and beef cattle/grazing management.
• Strong commercial judgement, communication and negotiation skills.
• Autonomous with momentum across multiple opportunities.
• Experience in high-growth or scale-up environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a quality pipeline across your market.
• Lead from prospecting to proposal, negotiation and close.
• Build trusted relationships with ranchers, producers, partners and stakeholders.
• Position eShepherd around customers' commercial and operational needs.
• Develop opportunities through networking, prospecting, and industry engagement.
• Lead or support key account opportunities, tenders and distribution agreements.
• Maintain CRM discipline, pipeline visibility, and forecasting.
• Collaborate with Customer Success for onboarding and ongoing support.
