Gallagher’s eShepherd is seeking a senior Business Development Manager to drive US growth for our livestock tech platform. You will own the sales cycle from first contact to close, build relationships with ranchers and industry partners, and shape go-to-market strategy across the US.

This is a senior, hands-on role with a base salary of $105,000–$120,000 and a 20% annual bonus potential. You’ll work closely with Gallagher and eShepherd teams to scale our market presence and customer success.”

Qualifications

• Proven business development or key account experience in a solution-selling environment.
• Demonstrated ability to identify prospects and convert opportunities into closed sales.
• Experience working with ranchers and/or agriculture.
• Knowledge of AgTech solutions.
• Interest in or understanding of beef cattle and grazing management.
• Strong commercial judgement, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and maintain momentum across multiple opportunities.
• Experience within a high-growth or scale-up environment.
• Ability to think strategically and turn thinking into action.

Responsabilités

• Identify and target new business opportunities.
• Own the sales journey from prospecting through to proposal, negotiation and close.
• Build trusted relationships with ranchers, producers, partners, distributors and industry stakeholders.
• Position eShepherd around customer needs and commercial requirements.
• Lead or support key account opportunities, tenders, contracts and distribution agreements.
• Maintain strong CRM discipline, pipeline visibility and accurate sales forecasting.
• Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure a smooth transition from sale to onboarding.
• Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, pricing insights and competitor activity.
• Help build the eShepherd and Gallagher brands through industry relationships and speaking opportunities.
