Job summary

Eaton’s Early Career Field Service Technician program within the Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) division is designed for recent technical school graduates who want a hands-on career in the electrical power industry.

You will work with experienced field service professionals to gain practical experience installing, testing, startup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of distribution equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or expected completion within 6 months.
• GPA of 2.80 or higher.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or work authorization for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, testing, startup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical power distribution equipment.
• Learn to safely use electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Participate in a structured training program with classroom, virtual, hands-on, and on-the-job learning.
• Receive coaching and mentorship from experienced Eaton team members.
• Support customers on-site and remotely while developing technical skills.
