Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking an Ecommerce Associate to process and ship merchandise, create compelling product listings, and improve the overall customer experience at the San Jose ARC center. This role prioritizes accurate descriptions, high-quality photography, and timely posting to support sales targets.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, strong English communication, and 2–4 years of customer service/retail experience, plus proficiency with Photoshop and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Strong computer skills with Windows OS and MS Office.
• Photoshop and online selling platform knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet quotas.
• Type at least 40 words per minute.
• 2–4 years of customer service and/or retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Process and ship sold merchandise and create product listings.
• Enhance customer experience with accurate descriptions and images.
• Select high-value items for online sale and verify authenticity.
• Photograph merchandise for online presentation.
• Provide excellent customer support via email, message, and phone.
• Meet daily posting quotas and sales targets set by Supervisor.
• Coordinate with District Sales Manager and Operations Manager.
