Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking an E-commerce Associate to process and ship merchandise, create listings, and enhance the customer experience. You will coordinate inventory, ensure accurate descriptions and images, and test items for authenticity before posting.

You will work with the team to meet posting quotas and sales targets while partnering with the District Sales Manager and Operations Manager to drive the ecommerce operations forward.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills of the English language.
• Excellent computer and technology skills, with a focus on Windows Operating Systems (10 or higher) and all Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Knowledge of online selling platforms and proficiency in Photoshop is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
• Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
• Experience in identifying high-quality and designer brand merchandise.
• Must have 2-4 years of customer service and/or retail experience.
• 1 years: merchandising experience, including boutique

Responsibilities

• Process and ship sold merchandise and manage order fulfilment.
• Create and update product listings with accurate descriptions and images.
• Coordinate inventory procedures and track active listings.
• Select high-value merchandise located at the ARC Center for sale on the online platform.
• Test items for functionality or authenticity prior to posting.
• Photograph and present merchandise in a visually appealing manner.
• Provide excellent customer support via email, message, and phone.
• Meet daily posting quotas and sales targets.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager and Operations Manager in day-to-day ecommerce operations.
