Job summary

Kroger Co. is seeking a Store e-Commerce Assistant Manager to support day-to-day e-Commerce operations in Syracuse, UT. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with laws and safety standards, train team members, and assist with scheduling and order management.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced store environment while maintaining excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience.
• Ability to read shelf tags and perform basic computer tasks.
• Strong numerical skills for counting and simple calculations.
• Self-directed with the ability to execute projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Ensure team members adhere to laws, food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Perform responsibilities required of selectors and customer attendants as needed.
• Train all functions and duties of the selector and customer attendant roles.
• Act as the person in charge of the e-Commerce department when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates’ needs.
• Maintain intake of customer orders and distribute work to selectors and attendants.
• Print and distribute order labels, including perishable orders.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies and organize staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies to the store e-Commerce manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Learn and implement process improvements from e-Commerce team.
• Provide feedback on daily and annual performance.
