Job summary

AutoNation in Columbus, GA seeks an e-Commerce Sales Associate to engage hundreds of customers online, by phone and in person, guiding their vehicle purchase in a no-haggle environment.

You will respond to leads promptly, answer questions, and help move customers from digital contact to in-store experience, delivering exceptional service and building loyalty by following up and coordinating with the Service department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Help customers select their perfect vehicle and guide them through the purchase.
• Negotiate terms to ensure payment options meet customers’ budgets and lifestyles.
• Close the deal and deliver an exceptional customer experience before and after purchase.
• Build loyalty by following up and guiding customers to the Service department.
