Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an e-Commerce Sales Associate to guide customers through the vehicle purchase journey across online, phone, and in-store channels. You’ll respond quickly to leads, answer questions, and deliver an exceptional experience in our no-haggle environment.

Aiming to exceed expectations, you’ll help transition customers to service and build loyalty. Strong communication, a customer-first mindset, and prior sales or retail experience are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• The willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Interact with hundreds of customers online, over the phone and in person to guide their vehicle purchases.
• Respond to leads promptly, answer questions and move customers from inquiry to in-store experience.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience and drive loyalty through follow-ups.
• Help transition customers to the Service department after purchase.
