The Salvation Army USA Western Territory in Pasadena is seeking an enthusiastic ECOMMERCE ASSOCIATE to join our Retail Team. You will select high-value merchandise for online sale and ensure steady supply to physical stores.

Responsibilities include item testing, listing and shipping using Sure Done and Ship Station, assisting with product photography, and providing timely customer support by phone and email. The role offers a growth-minded environment and a competitive hourly wage of $18.57.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service/retail.
• Knowledge of online selling platforms and Photoshop.
• 2 years: customer service and/or retail experience.
• 1 year: merchandising experience, including boutique.

• Ability to use listing and shipment software at a fast pace.
• Assisting with photography of items for sale to be displayed on auction website.
• Handling phone and emailing customer support in a timely manner.

As our enthusiastic and hardworking ECOMMERCE ASSOCIATE, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

1. Selecting high valued merchandise located at ARC Center to sell on ecommerce platform and supply physical stores with steady supply of collectible merchandise.

1. Following up on all orders with customers in real time.

1. Meeting daily posting quotas and weekly and monthly sales targets determined by Supervisor.
2. Taking an active role and partnering with the District Sales Manager, E-Commerce Specialist Associate, and team members in the day-to-day operation of the ecommerce business.

Qualifications to be considered for this position:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Demonstrated competency in skill area as indicated by verifiable training and/or experience.
• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects and move heavy objects such as household and office furniture, packages, and all other bulk items.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.

Schedule

Our warehouse may operate 7 days per week. Work schedules are determined by Management and employee must be flexible to always ensure adequate coverage. Full-time employee may be scheduled to work any full-time shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
