Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk in Savannah, GA. The role focuses on accurate and timely shipping documentation, daily carrier communications, and using the warehouse management system to manage shipments and bills of lading.

The position requires standing for long periods, lifting 50–100 pounds, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Prior warehouse and MHE experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Ability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed by the customer.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Lift and move totes up to 50-100 pounds.
• Strong data-entry and recordkeeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicates via email with outbound carriers daily, providing schedules for outbound shipments and equipment needs.
• Communicates with site personnel to ensure operations meet requirements.
• Receive drivers and provide direction for outbound shipments.
• Use WMS to open/close shipments and prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight.
• Ensure drivers depart with correct paperwork.
• Maintain shipping documents per SOP and ensure accuracy.
• Enter shipping data into the WMS and maintain records.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with material handling duties (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, loading).
• Monitor trailer capacity and coordinate with spotters on trailer moves.
• Perform other admin duties as assigned by leadership.
