Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations across our stores. You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and coordinate shipping and receiving with a focus on productivity and cost efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to work with multiple departments to meet inventory and customer needs while maintaining safety and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse/distribution.
• Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Ability to work with other departments in the company.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control, etc.
• Manage Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and safety programs; ensure safe, efficient equipment for distribution functions.
• Ensure warehouse safety programs comply with OSHA regulations and SOPs.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures; handle disciplinary actions as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize operations.
• Complete activity reports for management.
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist for timely data entry.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Oversee the Storage Buy Audit COP.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection.
• Oversee inventory rotation and proper storage to conserve space and ensure safety.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
