Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct store warehouse operations and supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators. You will manage the daily freight schedule based on customer and inventory needs and coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient warehouse performance.

The role emphasizes scheduling, safety compliance, training, and continuous process improvement, with opportunities to impact store efficiency across shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience required (warehouse or DC preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Effective cross-departmental collaboration abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficient in basic math and in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance and inventory control.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, resolve receiving errors, and stage products for counting.
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs.
• Ensure warehouse safety programs and compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve problems; coordinate with other departments.
• Complete activity reports for management and monitor paperwork flow.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoicing, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Manage Storage Buy Audit COP execution and inventory rotation.
• Oversee proper product staging and space optimization; perform other duties as directed.
