NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a energetic Medical Assistant to support exams, vitals, and direct patient care in a fast-paced urgent-care setting. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient friendliness, and adherence to safety policies while assisting providers and front office staff.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of an approved MA program, and relevant national certification. Training across multiple clinics ensures exposure to EMR/EHR and quality patient care.

• Minimum requirement: high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an approved MA training program (accredited).
• National certification required if unapproved program completed (CMA/AMT/CCMA).

Responsabilidades

• Assist provider with exams, vitals, and procedures under supervision.
• Administer medications per policy and safety protocols.
• Perform blood draws and urine collection for testing as directed.
• Support front office during patient flow and discharge processes.
• Proficiently use EMR/EHR systems; maintain accuracy in data entry.
