NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a energetic Medical Assistant that thrives in a fast-paced, team environment. This role combines clinical support with front-office duties, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include assisting providers with exams and vitals, medication administration, blood draws, specimen collection, wound care, and EMR/EHR proficiency. Full-time, onsite position with 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program.
• National certification (CMA/CCMA/RMA) or equivalent credentials preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist providers with exams and vitals in a fast-paced urgent-care setting.
• Administer medications per policy and supervise safe medication practices.
• Perform blood draws and collect urine samples for testing.
• Support front office duties including patient check-in/out and payments.
• Maintain EMR/EHR documentation and clinical workflow efficiency.
