NextCare Urgent Care is seeking an energetic Medical Assistant to support a fast-paced clinic, assisting providers with exams, taking vitals, performing venipuncture, and handling front desk tasks as needed.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, teamwork, and strict safety practices. A high school diploma or MA training is required, with CMA/RMA/CCMA certifications optional and supported by the Compliance guidelines.

Qualifications

• EMR/EHR proficiency required.
• Strong patient service orientation and teamwork.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with exams, vitals, procedures and direct patient care under supervision.
• Administer medications per policy and safety protocols.
• Perform blood draws and urine collection for tests as directed.
• Assist with front office duties including patient flow and discharge processing.
