Job summary

The Dispatcher at WeDriveU in Illinois will handle high-volume calls, coordinate with drivers, and respond to emails while solving problems throughout the day. You will monitor routes, issue instructions, and help resolve passenger concerns in a fast-paced environment.

We expect 1+ year experience in dispatch or a related field, strong organization, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. CDL and TMS experience are a plus; bilingual skills are welcome.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional experience in dispatch, call center, customer service or hospitality.
• Extremely detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience using multiple software programs simultaneously with various open tabs.
• Provide quick real time responses to requests and clear written/oral communication.
• Professional and energetic demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• TMS experience preferred but not required.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor drivers throughout their routes.
• Communicate specific instructions to drivers in the field regarding passenger pick-ups and drop-offs.
• Assist with investigating and resolving customer concerns.
• Monitor traffic flow and send out alerts as needed.
• Record incidents for vendor follow-up.
• Support Lost and Found process.
• Ensure all tasks comply with policies, safety, and regulations.
