Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to assist with daily restaurant operations and deliver friendly, personalized service with great food. You will work closely with the District Manager and team to maintain standards and procedures.

We seek a self-motivated team player who can lead in a fast-paced environment, manage staff, and ensure health, safety, and quality. Training and internal promotion opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver's License in good standing and access to private transportation.
• High School diploma or equivalent - possess all documents required by state and federal law.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving, decision-making skills and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing restaurant's daily operations.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team.
• Oversee coaching, counseling, and developing staff.
• Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set the tone for the fun, family environment in the restaurant.
