Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to help oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional guest service with great food in a clean, inviting environment. You will work closely with the General Manager and district team to uphold standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in a high-volume setting.
• Flexibility to rotate shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver's License and access to private transportation.
• High School diploma or equivalent – state/federal documentation.
• Ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem solving, decision-making, customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations under the General Manager.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls for the restaurant.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team members.
• Coach, counsel and develop staff and manage team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set a fun, family-friendly tone in the restaurant.
