Ayvaz Pizza is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to help run daily operations and deliver friendly, efficient service with great food in a clean, inviting setting. You will work closely with the General Manager and District Manager to uphold standards and procedures.

The role emphasizes team leadership, shift flexibility, and hands-on management in a fast-paced environment, with ongoing training and opportunities for internal promotion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in a high-volume food service environment.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing with access to private transportation.
• High School diploma or equivalent; meet all state and federal documentation requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent problem solving, decision making, customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant daily operations under the General Manager.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls and reporting.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team members.
• Coach, counsel and develop staff; manage team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set the tone for a fun, family environment in the restaurant.
