Job summary

Talented Medicals Solution is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapy under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will help implement treatment plans designed to restore function, reduce pain, and promote wellness across outpatient, inpatient, skilled nursing, and home health settings.

The role requires an Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program and a current PTA license in the practicing state; BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy.
• Previous PTA experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising PT.
• Assist patients in mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Instruct and supervise patients in therapeutic exercises, gait training, and transfer techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Document treatment sessions and patient progress per policy and standards.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercises.
• Maintain safety, infection control, HIPAA compliance, and a clean rehab area.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement and staff development as assigned.
